Acceptable Use Policy
Linkity is for creators to share their links safely. You can link to any legal content, including content meant for mature audiences on platforms that allow it. What you can't do is use Linkity for anything illegal, harmful or deceptive. This policy applies to your page, your links, your direct links and everything they lead to.
1. Never allowed
We remove these immediately, close the account without warning, and report them to the authorities where the law requires:
- Any sexual or sexualised content involving anyone under eighteen, or content that appears to.
- Intimate images or videos of anyone shared or sold without their consent, including hidden-camera material and "revenge" content.
- Sexual or intimate images of a real person made or altered with AI or editing tools without that person's consent.
- Content involving trafficking, coercion or exploitation of any person.
- Content that promotes or depicts terrorism or violent extremism.
2. Not allowed
- Illegal content or activity in the places you operate or your audience is, including the sale of illegal goods, drugs or weapons.
- Deception: impersonating another person, brand or creator; pretending to be someone you're not to take money from people; fake giveaways; scams.
- Harmful links: malware, phishing, pages that steal logins or card details, or links designed to trick people into something they didn't intend.
- Harassment and hate: threats, doxxing, bullying, or attacking people for who they are.
- Other people's rights: content that infringes copyright or trade marks, or shares someone's private information.
- Spam and abuse of the service: mass-created accounts, automated sign-ups, or using pages to spread spam.
- Attacking Linkity: trying to break, overload, probe or get around the service's security, or other people's pages.
3. Content for mature audiences
You may link to lawful content for mature audiences on platforms that permit it. When you do:
- everyone shown must be at least eighteen and must have agreed to the content being made and shared;
- you must follow the rules of the platforms you link to and link from;
- you must not target it at anyone under eighteen.
The images on your Linkity page itself (profile photo, backgrounds and cards) must be suitable for a general audience, because pages can be opened by anyone.
4. Accounts you manage for others
If you run pages for other creators, each of them must have agreed, and you're responsible for their pages meeting this policy.
5. Reporting
To report a page or link, email [email protected] with the address of the page and what's wrong. We look at every report. Reports about content involving minors or content shared without consent are dealt with first.
6. What we do
Depending on how serious it is, we may remove a link, take a page offline, suspend or close an account, and keep records where the law requires it. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you what we did and why, and give you a chance to put things right. If you think we got it wrong, reply to our message and we'll look again.
